Dr. Gordon H. Lamb, Interim President of the ¾Ã²ÝÈȾòÝÊÓƵ of Missouri, on Friday issued the following statement regarding the lawsuit filed in Cole County Circuit Court against the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority and its members.
“The ¾Ã²ÝÈȾòÝÊÓƵ is monitoring this litigation because the issues it raises are obviously important to the ¾Ã²ÝÈȾòÝÊÓƵ and to Missouri’s other public institutions of higher education. To fulfill the ¾Ã²ÝÈȾòÝÊÓƵ of Missouri’s unique missions of teaching, research, service and economic development, we must confront critical needs for updated facilities to support our students and those missions. The ¾Ã²ÝÈȾòÝÊÓƵ deeply appreciates the efforts of Missouri officials who provide leadership and resources to address these needs.”
